How are your steel fences built?
Every steel fence is completely bespoke and handcrafted entirely on-site. Using the same traditional weaving techniques we’ve perfected over four decades with willow, we construct the fence in one continuous length. This allows the boundary to flow beautifully along the natural contours of your landscape—effortlessly handling straight runs, sweeping curves, or stepped levels.

What materials do you use?
We weave our fences using flexible bands of mild steel. Despite being an industrial material, weaving it by hand gives the structure a surprising softness that sits beautifully in both contemporary and traditional settings. We offer two options: a bold 50mm band that shares the substantial visual presence of traditional willow, or a finer 30mm band for a more intricate, delicate finish.

How does the finish weather over time?
When first installed, the mild steel has a clean, metallic finish. Over the first few months of exposure to the elements, the steel will naturally cure and develop a rich, warm patina of natural tones. This gives the fence an organic, rusted quality that only improves with age.

How long will a woven steel fence last?
